Privacy

This site collects as little as it can, and says so plainly.

What this site collects

  • Nothing, by default. Reading this site does not require an account, and the site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. If analytics are added at launch, name the tool here and offer an opt-out.
  • What you send us. If you use the contact form or subscribe to updates, we keep your name, email address and message in order to reply and to send the updates you asked for.
  • What the payment processor collects. Online gifts are processed by PayPal. PayPal collects your payment details under its own privacy statement and passes the foundation your name, email address, gift amount and, if you provide it, postal address — which we keep in order to issue receipts and acknowledgments.

How it is used

To reply to you; to issue receipts; to send updates you subscribed to; to record gifts as the law requires; and to thank donors. The foundation does not sell, rent or trade donor or subscriber information, and does not share it with any organization except service providers that act on the foundation's instructions (the payment processor, an email-sending service, and its accountant), or where the law requires.

Your choices

You may unsubscribe from updates at any time by the link in any email or by writing to us. You may ask what information the foundation holds about you, ask that it be corrected, or ask that it be deleted — subject to records the foundation must keep for tax and accounting purposes. Write to info@zeitoun-memorial.org.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
